No Suspect Yet

The Chief of Central Jakarta Metro Police, Chief Commissioner Komarudin, explained that five witnesses have been examined in the abuse. The case was scheduled to be held on Monday.

"Today is the agenda for the test. If the results of the test meet the elements, we will designate him as a suspect. If they meet the elements," he said at the Metropolitan Regional Police office.

No suspect has been named yet. Komarudin admits that he experienced obstacles in the probe because almost all the witnesses did not show up on time.

"Because in every report, there are clarification stages in the investigation process. But, none of the witnesses came immediately. The demand for rescheduling becomes our obstacle in elevating this case from a probe into the investigation," he said.

Meanwhile, investigators need their testimony to uncover cases of violence experienced by the victim.

"Is there a compatibility with what was reported, that is what we are holding today. So, we can't just determine the suspect. It's not only about the results of the post-mortem examination, we also need witness statements," he said.
