Housemaid Forced to Eat Dog's Feces in South Jakarta - Global

, Jakarta - Indonesian police revealed the ruthless action of a family toward a house assistant in South Jakarta. A house assistant with the initials SKH (22) was forced to eat feces.

The victim was accused of wearing her employer's underwear. As a punishment, she was physically assaulted and forced to eat dog feces, and also her own.

The torment started from July 2022 until 7 December 2022 in an apartment unit in Simprug, South Jakarta.

According to the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metropolitan Police, Endra Zulpan, there are 8 suspects. The suspects are the parents and their children with the initials SK (68), MK (64), and JS (31).

There are also five other house assistants who were involved with the initials Y (35), ST (25), PA (19), IY (38), and O (48).

"MK has asked the victim to eat her and the animal's feces," he said in a press conference, Wednesday (14/12/2022).

The housemaid was also poured with boiled hot water. The perpetrator MK suddenly poured hot water into her legs. Her legs and the soles of her feet were injured. MK and SK also slapped and hit the housemaid's head.

The other house assistants also tormented her by binding his hands, cuffing them, and doing other ruthless actions.

Fortunately, these actions were recorded in a CCTV camera. The police took a DVR CCTV from the apartment as evidence. The police also found the recordings in the suspects' phones. All suspects are charged with domestic violence.

The police also found the victim suffered injuries on her lips, breast, stomach, and both hands. Those wounds are deemed to be life-threatening.

The other house assistants also tormented the victims based on their own initiatives. At first, they were receiving the order to torture the victim from their employers. Later, they tormented the victims without orders. Police said the tormenting activities became a habit for them.

"We are really sorry and regret (the actions), therefore the Jakarta Metropolitan Police took a quick step to enforce the laws as needed," he said.

Police said the couples who started the torture are a landlord and a landlady.

This case was revealed after the victim went back home in Pemalang, Central Java, injured.

The victim then sent a report to the Resort Police of Pemalang. Afterward, the Pemalang police coordinated with the Metropolitan Police because the incident occurred in Jakarta.
